So, we were suppose to go to Kern River instead of the farm, but there was an accident and blocked the road in and out of the canyon. It's a 2 lane road through there, talk about scary! lol I'm a sissy. The river runs right next to the road. It was so pretty. Wish we could have made it to the picnic site.
We finally have a washer and dryer!! We sold our's, since the dryer was electric and we needed a gas one. We got them today! They are really nice and super quiet. I like them better than our's. We actually got them cheaper than what we sold our's for. The people we bought them from were suppose to take our's, but didn't like that our warranty was almost up. It's so nice to have a washer and dryer. You should see the clothes on the floor in our room. I've done a couple loads this evening. I'm hoping to be all caught up by tomorrow night. Yay! (Thank you Tim and Pat for letting us come invade your place and do laundry!!!! You guys are awesome!) Oh! The stove is finally fixed too! They came yesterday to fix it yesterday! I can use the whole stove, not just half. lol
Madelyn's birthday is almost 2 weeks away. I can't believe it. I don't want her to grow anymore. The stage she's at is perfect. She's amazing. She's stands by herself and thinks it's so awesome. She just smiles when she does it. Probably because Frankie and I get so excited for her. lol She's such a happy baby. Frankie was too. I love it. Frankie is going to start basketball lessons next week. He's so excited! I HAVE to get pictures of that. He's never played. We went to the park with our friends and the boys were playing. The next day he said he wanted to learn how to play. =) He's getting so big. I don't want him to grow up anymore either.
Well, I'm going to bed! Night!
Yes, you do need to post more. I miss you! I can't believe our girl is standing and about to turn a year old. Just got an email from your mom, she's missing you like crazy.
ReplyDeleteYea....you can do laundry AND cook now!!! Sounds like you have been keeping busy and having fun. I am still dying to know if you found out what kind of trees that you posted were??
ReplyDeleteHolly, I thought you said she was crazy. Then I re-read what you wrote. HaHa! I was going to say, yes I know she's crazy. lol!
ReplyDeleteKris, not yet. A friend said that the one you said was persimmon, may be guava? I don't know yet. I don't know if the one we thought we were cherries, are. I cut it open and tasted it. I'm not sure. I'll post a picture of it. They don't have stems either. So weird. They others don't seem to be ripe yet. I'll let you know.
Hi Tammy!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you've been a busy girl!
Glad to know you are getting that laundry pile done! ;)
