Very Bad Habit
I HATE laundry. So, I put it in the washer, then the dryer and then. . . . Back in the clothes basket! And they stay there. Ugh! Why can't I just put them away load by load? Because I'm lazy! I would make this my New Year's Resolution, but why? I would just break it anyway. I would post a picture, but that is way too embarrassing. Let's just say I have 6 baskets and they all have clean laundry in them. Well, except Madelyn's. Very frustrating. Guess I should get off of the computer and go hang up/fold clothes while Madelyn is sleeping. Wish me luck!!!

I do the same thing..I currently have 4 clean loads in hampers..it's awful! I did put the baby clothes away last night and was very proud lol!
ReplyDeleteHaHa! I just put the baby's away too!
ReplyDeleteI am so very glad to hear I am not the only one! I can do the laundry no problem but folding is like a Herculean task!
ReplyDeleteI got two baskets done. Boo. LoL I'm so glad I'm not the only one. Thank you ladies! =)
ReplyDeleteI was the same way until we installed a rod in the laundry room, now everything comes out of the dryer and onto a hanger immediately (except sock and underwear of course). The rest is easy to put away. And no ironing!
ReplyDeletehahaha oh how i can relate! i used to do that very same thing till i learnt to promise myself treats if i done it and got it out the way with!! ok i still fall back now and again but hey, i'm a busy mom! (perfect excuse for us all, right?) lol
ReplyDeleteOur laundry room has no room for a rod. =( I have been pretty good about it lately. We'll see how long it lasts!
ReplyDeleteThat's the excuse I use, Debs. lol Hubby doesn't agree with it, but oh well.
Try the 10-minute trick. When there's something I hate doing (such as LAUNDRY) I set the timer for ten minutes and I only force myself to do it until the timer goes off. It makes it seem doable, and you can actually get quite a bit done in ten minutes! Good luck!
