It's Frank's Birthday!

Today is Frank's birthday! Last night the kids and I took his car to get washed. When we got home we wrote on the windows for him. =)

HaHa! I love it. Frankie was so excited to do this.
We also made him cupcakes.

They didn't turn out how I wanted them, but they're cute.

Spring Break!

Hi! This is going to be a long post. Just a warning. =P
We went to Arizona for Frankie's spring break. He's been asking to see my parents and sisters, since Christmas. We were there all week. It was a pretty eventful week, also. We got to my parent's place at about 1am Saturday morning. We went to the Phoenix Zoo with Frankie. It was pretty hot. Yuck. Before the zoo, we went to TGI Friday's at Chase Ballpark. We had a great view of the field. I miss being able to go to the DBack games. Frankie thought that was pretty cool. He's never been to a baseball game, or field. I don't have any zoo pictures. We took those with Frank's phone. 

Saturday night, I went to the hospital with my best friend. She was being induced. This is her first baby. I was there all Saturday night, until she had Miss Ella @ 3:45p on Sunday. She's an April Fool's baby. I don't hate that holiday anymore. =P It was pretty amazing. She was 8lbs 13oz and 21 1/2 inches long. She's a really good baby.

The kids were with Frank while I was at the hospital. He took them to get their pictures done, by our friend. If you are in the Phoenix area, look her up, she's amazing! Nicole Walker Photography

After they were done, they went to lunch. That's when Madelyn fractured her arm....... I guess she was trying to climb out of the high chair and fell. She has a Buckle Fracture in both the ulna and radius. She had a cast put on Thursday and she has to wear for 3 weeks. The doctor said it wasn't a bad fracture. We won't be able to tell it was ever there.

Frankie's 7th Birthday

Hello! I wanted to show you some things that I made for Frankie's birthday party! And give credit to the people that gave me the ideas. =)
We made an angry bird cake. Everybody loved it! My mother in law decorated it for me.

I think it turned out awesome! Of course, I found this idea on Pinterest. It came from In Katrina's Kitchen. We did our's a little different. The beak, tail, top feathers, and eye brows were carved out of an extra cake.

We also made some sushi. So cute.

The top plate was Zingers with Swedish Fish on top and wildberry (couldn't find a green) fruit roll up. The bottom plate had Twinkies with pieces of Swedish Fish in the middle and wildberry fruit roll up wrapped around. The swirly looking ones are Strawberry Roll Ups with wildberry fruit roll up wrapped around. I found this on Pinterest, also! This adorable idea is from Busy Bee Kids Crafts. Frankie LOVES sushi. Always asks to go. He loves the California Roll with Tuna on top. lol

Pumpkins!

Hi guys!  I've missed ya! 

Yesterday we went to the Murray Family Farms to pick pumpkins.

It was a pretty good day, hot, but good.  I'm kind of mad, because I had checked their Facebook page to see the times for the "hayrides".  They said that they started weekdays at 12:30, so I thought it was the same on the weekend. Grrrr....  If I would have known that on the weekends, they start at 8am, we would have been there first thing in the morning.  Oh well, it was fun and nobody got sunburned.  lol

 It's almost my favorite month of the year!  The cooler weather, the pretty colors, the baking, the cooking, the smells, Halloween, and THANKSGIVING (my fav!).
